PERMIT FREE EMPLOYMENT
The Immigration Rules have provision for people to be admitted to the UK to
undertake certain types of employment without a work permit. For information on these categories please refer to their separate leaflet(s) entitled: Permit Free Employment (INF 14) (You apply for this yourself)

FULLY QUALIFIED DOCTOR
If you are a fully qualified doctor or dentist and wish to take employment
in that field you will need a work permit. For further information about work permits see their guidance - Work Permits (INF 13) . (Your employer applies for this for you.)

GENERAL PRACTICE
If you intend to establish yourself in general practice you will need to
meet the requirements for admission to the UK as a self-employed person. For information see their guidance Setting up in Business (INF 10).
